Single Phase Prepaid Energy Submeter

SUB-METER to enable you to use electricity for the units you have.

This sub-meter is different from the luku, but it works with the luku. What is done here is that you put electricity in the Tanesco Luku, after that you have the ability to transfer it to the sub-meter. When this sub-meter runs out of electricity, it must be cut off, and you will have to put another electricity in the socket after it is transferred to this sub-meter so that you can continue using it.

For example, in one house where there are 5 tenants each with their own sub-meter, we donated 5,000/= shillings each which is equal to 25,000/= after that we will share these units each of 5,000/= which is equal to 14 units each ( electricity for 25,000 shillings/= is 70 units)

If one of them finishes his 14 units, then the electricity will be cut only to him and he will have to buy it again and put it in the Tanesco lock and after that he will be given his units in his sub-meter.

Unit allocation

When you close these sub-meters to cut off electricity, you create an account that has a username and password that allows you to distribute electricity to everyone according to what they pay for.

That's how it works. If used properly, it completely eliminates the contention of tenants in the same house.
